Project overview: As part of decommissioning of the Bayu-Undan facilities, located 500km NW of Darwin and 250km SE of Suai in the Timor Sea, the FSO Liberdade will be towed to Tibar Port in Timor-Leste for final decontamination cleaning of its cargo tanks and topsides process pipework prior to recycling. The following approvals are being prepared for assessment by the Timor-Leste government department ANLA:
- Terms of Reference (ToR)
- Project Document
- Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
- Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
Jo-Anne is the Senior Environmental Advisor working as part of the MCC Sustainable Futures team managing the environmental approvals. She supports the project in the following ways:
- Preparation of various approvals documents including the Project Document, Environmental Impact Statement and Environmental Management Plan
- Review technical documentation to draft the activity description and ENVID
- Assess environmental risks and controls for planned activities and unplanned events
- Preparation and support facilitation of client workshops
