About

Jo-Anne Blunn – Environmental Specialist

Over the past 20 years I have been working for various sectors within the environmental industry including oil and gas, mining and chemical processing, infrastructure, consulting and local and state government. I have broad experience in project management phases from exploration through to decommissioning and have specialist skills in managing a diverse array of terrestrial and marine environmental risks and impacts, including bushfire risk management.

I have a reputation for being highly organised, efficient and hardworking and my professional ethos focuses on supporting organisations in the development of robust, practical and cost efficient management systems and strategies to maintain their legal and social licence to operate.

I specialise in the following services:

  • Environmental Management Systems
  • Auditing and Compliance
  • Environmental Approvals
  • Operational Support
  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Risk Management
  • Emergency Response Management

I have also created an Environmental Management Reference Library to provide a quick reference for industry professionals and the general public to environmental information, with a focus for those working and living in Western Australia. The reference library is divided into the following sections:

  • Environmental aspects
  • Environmental approvals
  • Sustainable living

I really enjoy landscape photography and have included an Environmental Appreciation Photography Journal, particularly focusing on Australia, to encourage nature appreciation and conservation. A summary of applications in which my photography has been utilised is provided in the Environmental Photography Overview.
